BT Sport – A taste of what’s to come…

Jakes joins some of the leading names in British sport to launch three new BT Sport channels in an unmissable live show tonight at 6pm.  Get a taste of what’s to come - all three channels are available free for the first day to anyone with Freeview, TV from BT or Sky.

Broadcasting live from BT Sport’s impressive new studios in Stratford, the largest purpose-built sports studios in Europe, the show will be live on both the BT Sport channels until the moment they become independent of each other. Jake will head to the football studio to cover the Audi Cup on BT Sport 1, and Craig Doyle heads over to the rugby studio to cover the JP Morgan Asset Management’s 7s on BT Sport 2.

"From the Football Conference to the Premier League via The FA Cup...from the top to the bottom we've got football covered," Jake explained earlier this year. He leads BT Sport’s football coverage, hosting 38 exclusive matches from the Barclays Premier League – including 18 ‘top picks’.

“I'll never have the skills to play in an FA Cup final so to have the chance to present the final for the next few years is a dream for me” Jake explained. “My hero Des Lynam was the ultimate football presenter and I'm delighted to be following in his footsteps by hosting FA Cup football.”

Jake will be joined by some of the most recognisable faces in football; Michael Owen, Steve McManaman and David James are just a few of the names to join a huge roster of experts, commentators and special guests to share their insights and expertise across the channels.
