Hybrids turn up heat at Paris Motor Show

For a good idea of the technology, styling and innovations that will dominate the driving landscape in the coming years, hop on the Eurostar to Paris for the last major motor show of 2014.

I’ve been looking at the headline grabbers and Lamborghini’s Asterion tops the lot. This is Lambo’s entry into the hybrid market where the LaFerrari, BMW i8 and McLaren P1 have changed perceptions.

The Asterion has a top speed of 198mph and gets to 60 in less than three seconds, yet it also delivers 68.5mpg. Made from carbon-fibre and developed in-house, the car retains the classic low-slung Lamborghini styling, with higher seats for comfort.
